1. DIY Essential Oil Carpet Cleaner with Vinegar
What you need
- ½ part white vinegar (where to get it)
- ½ part warm water
- 7 drops ylang ylang essential oil (where to get it) or any of the above essential oils
Directions
- Mix up the ingredients together to form a solution.
- Load it in your carpet cleaning machine.
- Your carpets will smell beautiful and you’ll notice stains are gone!
2. DIY Essential Oil Carpet Cleaner with Sals Suds
This is an effective recipe from Wellness Mama.
What you need
- 2 quarts warm water
- Just 1 drop Dr.Bronner’s Sals Suds Liquid Cleaner (where to get it)
- 7 drops lemon essential oil (where to get it) or any of the above essential oils
Directions
Mix up all the ingredients in a bucket and pour into your carpet cleaning machine. According to Wellness Mama, this recipe works very well in cleaning your carpets and getting rid of stains. It’s completely all natural and safe to use. As tempting as it may be, do not add more Sals Suds because it will leave residue on your carpet.
