Forget toxic commercial room deodorizers that have been linked to health problems. Make your own chemical-free all natural DIY essential oil room deodorizer!
One of the most common store-bought products I fear the most is air fresheners or room deodorizers. That’s after I found out that these sprays are filled with tons of toxic chemicals that are downright dangerous for our health. Many serious illnesses including respiratory problems such as asthma are linked to overuse of commercial air fresheners. Imagine breathing in air filled with these chemicals on a daily basis.
I used to buy and use air fresheners a lot. I really loved jasmine-scented and citrusy room deodorizers like crazy. I’d spray them around the house, on the curtains and also the couch just before guests came over. Thankfully, I stopped using commercial air fresheners and I’ve found an all- natural, safer and lovelier alternative – essential oils!
There’s nothing more exciting than making your own DIY essential oil room deodorizer, knowing they’re totally chemical-free, safe for kids, even cheaper! And the fact that you’re actually getting therapeutic benefits when you breathe in essential oils is just pure gold. For example, inhaling lavender essential oil relieves stress and soothes a tired mind, sniffing lemon essential oil makes you happy and energized, peppermint essential oil increases focus and concentration, and so much more!
