Essential Oils for Sugar Scrubs

How to Make a DIY Essential Oil Sugar Scrub
What you need
- 1 cup white sugar (where to get it) or brown sugar (where to get it)
- ½ cup olive oil (where to get it)
- 10 – 12 drops essential oil of choice
- Wide mouth jar (where to get it)
- Large mixing bowl and spatula
Directions
- Into a large mixing bowl, add ½ cup of white cane sugar. Now pour in ¼ cup of olive oil or other carrier oil of choice. Good options are liquid coconut oil and sweet almond oil.
- Mix everything together with a spatula till well combined.
- Your DIY essential oil sugar scrub is ready!
- Scoop it into a wide mouthed jar or recycle any suitable container.
- Label it and it’s ready! Store in a cool dry place. You can store it in your bathroom cabinet but make sure to not get any water into it. To make it last longer, you can store it in the refrigerator. To use, place 2 tbsp of the scrub in a bowl and take it to the shower with you. Rub onto wet skin then rinse off.
