- Lemon
- Orange
- Eucalyptus
- Vanilla
- Lavender
- Cedarwood
Be more careful using citrus oils. Eucalyptus, lavender, vanilla and cedarwood are my go-to essential oils safe for leather.

DIY Leather Shoe Cleaner with Essential Oils
What you Need
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup vinegar
- 2 drops eucalyptus essential oil
- Pyrex measuring cup
- 4 oz amber glass spray bottle
- Soft microfiber cloth
Method
- In a Pyrex measuring cup, measure all the ingredients and pour them carefully into an amber glass spray bottle.
- Close the cap and shake well to combine.
- To use, spray onto your leather shoes then wipe off with a soft microfiber cloth.
