» Homemade Anti-Fungal Cream
What you need
- ¼ cup pure shea butter (where to get it)
- ¼ cup beeswax pastilles (where to get it)
- ¼ cup coconut oil (where to get it)
- ¼ cup olive oil (where to get it)
- 20 drops tea tree oil (where to get it)
- Optional – 3 drops oregano oil (where to get it)
- 8 oz glass jar (where to get it)
Method
- Gather what you need including the mason jar where you’ll be storing your anti-fungal cream.
- Add the beeswax, shea butter, coconut oil and olive oil to the jar.
- Next fill a pan or pot with ½ cup of water and place it on the stove top over a medium low flame.
- Place the mason jar inside the pot carefully, making sure no water goes inside. The water level should reach halfway up on the outside of the jar.
- Let the ingredients in the mason jar gently melt down completely with the heat. You can help it melt faster by stirring it.
- Once melted, turn off the heat, carefully get the mason jar out and let it cool down for about 2 minutes.
- Add the essential oils and stir well with the back of a long spoon or a disposable chopstick.
- Your own anti-fungal tea tree cream is ready! Now all you have to do is allow the cream to harden and set to solid form, for which you can leave it in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
- When it’s solidified, scoop some out using clean fingers and apply liberally on the affected areas. Before applying, make sure the area is clean and dry because yeast and fungi multiply faster in moist areas. So wipe the area with toilet paper before applying the cream.

For genital yeast infections, sitz baths can be life savers! Perform sitz baths about 5 to 7 times a day, depending on the severity of your yeast infections. Seriously, these baths are miracle workers in alleviating intense itches by destroying the itch-causing germs.

- In your bathroom, fill the tub halfway with hot water: make it very hot that’s when it works but don’t get it hot enough to scald you! Just hot enough that your skin can handle. Note: Instead of using a tub, invest in a sitz bath tub that fits in your toilet so you can easily sit in.
- Add the salt and essential oils then stir the water very well using your clean hand.
