- Insomnia or disturbed sleep
- Weight gain, especially around the belly
- Vaginal dryness

- Hair loss and thinning of hair
DIY Essential Oil Blend for Menopause
Essential oils can do a whole lot in minimizing the signs and symptoms of menopause, and making the whole experience smoother and less aggravating. This essential oil blend is designed to uplift your mood, reduce common problems in menopause and improve the quality of your life.
What you need:
- 20 drops of lavender
- 20 drops of rosemary
- 20 drops of geranium
- 10 drops of roman chamomile
- 10 drops of peppermint
- 10 drops of ylang ylang
- 10 drops of rose otto
Directions:
- In a clean glass bowl, begin by carefully dropping in each of your essential oils. Stir them very well using a tooth pick.
- Now get a 10 ml glass vial bottle, and transfer the essential oils in the bowl using a pipette or sterile syringe.
- This is a 100% concentrated blend that has not been diluted. It must be diluted before use. I prefer such ‘pure’ blends because it allows me to be versatile in the ways I use them. For example, I can use 10 drops of this blend in a diffuser, while I can use the same blend as a body lotion by pouring 5 drops of it into an unscented lotion. I can use the same blend for direct inhalation, while I can drop the same blend (20 drops) into a relaxing bath together with 1 cup of Epsom salts.
